what is Anthropology

Anthropology is a scientific study of humanity .It is called a science of human and its behavior ,in the both the present and past.It covers all the particular part of man and his different group not like others science which covers single particular part eg- physiology , socialogy and economic etc.It also tells about about various particular parts of life from the time of begining till present day. Anthropology helps to find how humans lived ,what type of foods they eat ,they have which type of relationship in that time.




Anthropology meaning


anthropology first appeared in renaissance Germany in the work of magnus and otto casmann.Their new latin anthropologia come from the combining with two greek words ánthrōpos mean human and lógos mean study.

Anthropology evolution


Evolutionary anthropology is based in natural science and social science, combining the human development with socioeconomic factors.Evolutionary anthropology is combined with biological and cultural evolution of past and present humans. Evolutionary anthropology brings together fields such as archaeology, neurobiology,ethnology,linguistics, behavioral ecology, psychology, primatology, embryology and genetics.


Our distant ancestors are a group of animals known as primates .Primates first appeared on Earth about 50 million years ago ,and looked rather like squirrels.Over millions of years they changed and grew ,as the environment changed around them and they learn new skills to adapt to it.Slowly,they developed into apes , then into hominids(almost humans) ,then into modern human beings.


Forensic Anthropology


Forensic Anthropology is sub-field of physical Anthropology and human osteology (the scientific study of bones) .Forensic Anthropology helps to solve a criminal case. A forensic anthropologist can also help in the identification of deceased individuals whose remains are decomposed, burned, mutilated or otherwise unrecognizable, as might happen in a plane crash.

Sociocultural


Sociocultural Anthropology the principle axes of cultural anthropology and social Anthropology.Cultural Anthropology is study of numberous way in which peaple make sense of the world around them ,while social Anthropology is the study of the relationships among a individuals and groups.Cultural anthropology is more related to philosophy, literature and the arts .how one's culture affects the experience for self and group, contributing to a more complete understanding of the people's knowledge, customs, and institutions. While social anthropology is more related to sociology and history. It helps to develop an understanding of social structures, and other populations like minorities ,subgroups etc


Biological Anthropology


Biological Anthropology is field of physical Anthropology . It examines the biological and social factors that have affected the evolution of humans and other primates, and that generate, maintain or change contemporary genetic and physiological variation.

Archeological


Archeology is a study of culture of past and of periods of history by examining the remains of buildings,artifacts and objects found in the ground are the evidance of past societies to how they lived.Archeology often thought carefully about a branch of Sociocultural Anthropology.Archaeologists examine material remains in order to deduce patterns of cultural practices andpast human behavior. Ethnoarchaeology is a type of archaeology that studies the practices and material remains of living human groups in order to gain a better understanding of the evidence left behind by past human groups, who are presumed to have lived in similar ways.


paleontology


paleontology is a study of fossils as a guide to the history of life on earth.Paleontologist is a person who study about fossils ,By paleontologist found fossilized item evidence about paleontology such as petrifacted(turning into stone) bones ,teeth,and footprints.These items tells about a what is a diet of past population and what is a Genetics and morphology of specimens.
